Areli describe themselves as Real Estate Investment and Asset Managers, they consist of seven permanent employees.

They engage consultants to undertake much of the work including consultations.

The last consultation was undertaken by Cascade Communications.

It was this consultation and the fact that there were so many unanswered questions that led to the formation of the Nuts to the Walnuts (NTTW) Facebook group.

A planning application was lodged with Bromley Council on 21 December 2021.

This application included 990 flats spread over 15 blocks of which two were 20 storeys high.

The proposal also included building on land not owned by the developer and included the demolition of the Saxon Day Care Centre and the Walnuts Leisure Centre.
